HAPPY (belated) NEW YEAR to you too Tania – May 2010 be all that you wish it to be…

I am so sorry that you missed out on sharonb’s visit – I only found out myself just after Boxing Day… Ironically there was a lady who came from Cranbourne there as well… She seems from what she said, into the quilting side of things…

As you read on my blog there is a hint of a suggestion that sharonb may be persuaded to come down to teach a weekend workshop… I will definetely let you know if that is the case…

Your music sounds as though it has moved to the fore of your life… I think one can only side step their passion or destiny for a short while before it comes back to bite you on the b**Let us know when you are performing as THIS year is MY year for DOING things and having only GOOD experiences…

Just discovered your blog. Gorgeous book! I have had it for a while. There is another one as well called “Pink & Grey”. In my opinion you have the best of the two. Enjoy.

I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing, behind in blog reading again. It was good that you were able to go to his funeral. Take care Tannia, and be kind to yourself. (((HUGS))).

So sorry for your loss. It seems mad to grieve it under the circs, but I understand totally and will feel just the same when mine goes. I think of it as the kid who has no money waiting by the ice cream van whilst all the other kids get theirs. He’s not going to get anything, as he has no money, but it’s made even more final – the last hope is gone, when the van drives off.

The need for family is fundamental and STRONG! The denial of it is devastating – I know!

Let the grief flow though, no matter how ‘mad’ it seems and let it out of your system. I find writing things down very helpful indeed – can help you to cry it all out. Things kinda feel better once they’re said – whether by the mouth, or on paper.

Hope your healing is swift.=)

Sometimes Tannia it just takes one thing to spark your interest again… For me it was the BOM from Gail Pan – the stitching was easy and comforting in some way … I have enjoyed the no pressure stitching which they offered… Again take care of yourself and I am glad to hear you have had a ‘sunny’ moment…
