I had a lovely visit with Marg (who still doesn’t have a blog) and Barb yesterday, nice bit of lunch, some drooling over stitching and lovely conversation! There just aren’t two nicer people in the whole world! I’m so glad they visited.
All three of us have fallen in love with this little fella from The Workbasket!
I started him yesterday, Cobblestone 28 count jobelan ( I think as I bought this piece of fabric some years ago and there is no colour on the pack) and Kaalund natural silk that I picked up in an odds and ends basket one day and was wondering what I’d do with it.
I think he looks a little like Hedwig
although I am making a great assumption that ‘he’ is actually a ‘he’.

I think Barb was ‘scrounging for fabric” last night so she could start him too!
I’ve stumbled a bit with my stitching lately – just haven’t had the inclination but I was really enjoying this project last night – so much so I am going to go sit with him for abit longer today;)
Congratulations on getting some stitching done. It is very therapeutic to create. Love the fabric you have chosen, is a beautiful colour.
WhoHOO – you got in some lovley stitches. What a cute little owl!
Sometimes Tannia it just takes one thing to spark your interest again… For me it was the BOM from Gail Pan – the stitching was easy and comforting in some way … I have enjoyed the no pressure stitching which they offered… Again take care of yourself and I am glad to hear you have had a ‘sunny’ moment…
I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing, behind in blog reading again. It was good that you were able to go to his funeral. Take care Tannia, and be kind to yourself. (((HUGS))).
Your owl is looking great.
That’s the way, Tannia – a bit of stitching here and there to get back into it again. ‘Hedwig’ will cheer you up no end when he is finished – cute!!
What a cute project to bring you back into a stitching mood. Too cute!
