Dire danger of becoming a ‘cat blog’ and never stitching again!
In the past two days I have learnt some very amazing things about myself…
- I like to sleep – preferably all night without too many interruptions….see point 2.
- I used to like having my ear lobes nibbled…however at 2.00 am by Banjo – I have now changed my mind.
- Kittens, like babies of the human kind, are very good time-wasters and the ultimate reason to put some awful domestic task off till later!
- My camera has not had such a work out since LHM was a baby – the pictures of LHM stopped at around 5 years of age, I’ve taken more photos of Banjo in two days than I have of LHM in two years!
Banjo – reclining on the sofa!
Banjo’s weepy eye is all better now so expect lots of pretty pictures of his beautiful face this week.
How could you not take a picture of such a cutie ?!
But I understand about the pictures and kids…I took roll after roll of my first three kids and poor Ellie our baby doesn’t have near as many pics taken of her
Who could resist taking lots of pics of this beautiful kittie. Looking forward to face shots.
New kitties are like new babies – can’t get enough of them! LOL
Congratulations on your newest family member. Cats are wonderful and I can understand you spending lots of time watching and playing with him. He is such a sweetie. I was a naughty girl today and bought my 50th birthday present. I am not 50 until September but I am picking up my new little man (A
Somali) on Wednesday. His name is Harry. So we will be new parents together.
Tannia…I just rec’d a lovely package from you! Thank you so much
I think I lost your e-mail…sorry…but I wanted you to know that I got it and I love it! Thank you so so much!!
Hugs,
Vonna
Congrats on your newest addition! He sure looks like a cutie and I don’t think I could resist taking lots and lots of pictures either.
Banjo is a doll! I love that picture of him! Adorable! give him lots of kisses for me!
Awww your cat is adorable! Yes they’re great time wasters!
Hi, Tannia, Vonna steered me to your blog, and I’m so thrilled to meet you. I’m a needlepointer and XSer, too!! I’m really a needlepointer at heart with a love of XS as well, but I haven’t seen any other stitching blogs that show work of both. So, you are a breath of fresh air!! Love your “Desert” piece…your stitching is impeccable.

See old entries on my blog for some of my needlepoint
I could’ve sworn I’d commented before, but obviously not … I just wanted to say a huge congrats on getting a kitty – Banjo looks positively gorgeous!
He’s delightful! I wish I could have a cat here, but we’re not allowed animals in this building…=(
You’ll have to stitch more though, else how can I keep you on my Blogroll of ‘Needlecraft blogs’??=) I haven’t done much with the needle over recent months either, (although I may be comparing it to the amount of stitching I was able to churn out when home seriously ill for 4+ years!!!), and am wondering how much to expect of myself there.
Two weddings coming up though and a baby due June for whom I have planned to make a crib quilt. So, best get on with it.
I’ll be investigating other blog services, but I think it would be a shame to have to move. Maybe I should try and contact Blogger about the carriage returns issue first. Moving would be a pain.
Banjo is beautiful! I can see why you are taking lots of pics
Congrats on the new addition!
Oh he is absolutely gorgeous. British Short hair as amazing gentle characters… everything with be stitched with love and a little bit of cat hair now
I am laughing at your cat’s story. Thank you for stopping by my blog and left me comment. I saw your amazing biscornu piece at Carol’s blog. You have amazing work here as well.
I know how you feel about taking photo after photo of Banjo. New kitties are priceless and they grow up so fast. Thank God for digital cameras – snapping away endlessly and then being able to delete the ones that didn’t turn out as you wanted!
